How Much You Can Grow in 2022?
Growth is caused by supporting others — proven on Medium.
On the passenger side, while my father drove, the rain started to pour. I was about to think how right now I am enjoying myself like Ghibli movie — the greatest Japanese animation film studio for appreciating the beauty of life.
On my mind, when it rained, “Why was I give hate to rain when it’s not convenient for me, but I asked for rain when I wanted to?”
I remember in my early 20s, I cried while I was looking for a taxi because I was drenched in the rain and I was pulling my suitcase. It was enough to ruin my day. I stay with that mentality longer until the past year.
I am thinking, how much I have been growing since that?
Is there a way to grow a lot in one year?
A lot means I accomplish more than I thought when I reflect by 2023.
While on the way, I looked at my phone and got notifications from Evon. She is smart, has a big heart, and loves laughing. Perfect to be befriended. I love to drop a worth-to-read story, it’s inspirational and thoughtful.
I know for sure I was amazed by her way to support others. So I think, I know I can grow a lot if I copy her way.
This is how to grow a lot in one year.
#1 Support first.
Be the one. Be the first. Come to others.
You can’t be confused anymore with the feeling of not being useful. We are now in a golden age for each other because there are so many different ways, as you will discover that you can help others with your need. Since our deepest feeling is to be needed.
You know what? We all need you here. We need you to give the author a clap, or 50 claps. Leave comment. Share their story.
Never been before, you can easily contribute and be useful to others' life.
#2 Reciprocal.
Luckiness is made. Opportunities aren’t come out of the blue. But it won't likely so if you are not started to plant the seeds.
I mean you can’t follow others, leave comments once then consider yourself done. You need to maintain the relationship with your followers and the author you follow.
It doesn’t need high maintenance, you just need to be reciprocal. If somebody gives you a way to be in the light, pay it forward. Start with one person. Be reciprocal. Like this reciprocal community whose spirit makes me dedicated to respecting others' work.
#3 Are you ready?
You just need to be ready. If you are ready, people will happy to contribute and become a part of it. Are you ready? Readiness is part of the commitment. And commitment is part of the repetition.
So if you are ready, make the commitment to play the games. The way is shown to you already. Commit to engaging with others' work. Commit to mentioning their name in your work. Just like what I did here.
Final thoughts.
If you are in the position to lift others, why not show your power? You are strong you can lift others, people love to see it. Strong correlates with accountability. It’s not like I give you my power then I have less power, instead, we trust you more because you are reliable. It’s human nature to admire strong people.
